Fox Chapel TSA Chapter
As a national organization, Technology Student Association is able to encourage middle and high school students around the country to experience STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) in practice. Students compete in events, engage in leadership opportunities and activities, and more. Not only does technology have a positive impact on the lives of the people involved, but also the business aspect of activities and events. Over 233,000 students are a part of this organization. TSA chapters also take part in national service projects and work within their communities.
“The Technology Student Association enhances personal development, leadership, and career opportunities in STEM, whereby members apply and integrate these concepts through intracurricular activities, competitions, and related programs.”
In 2017, Fox Chapel Students impressed the judges at the TSA State Competition. Jeremy Rodgirues and Jonathan Monroe debated Tech Issues. Shania Khatri, Nishika Mohnot, Nikita Bargaje, Anita Bargaje, and Ellie Mountz competed in Biotechnology Design. Karissa Becer and Juliette Naugle competed in Tech Problem Solving.
